The restaurant immediately acknowledged the error, attributing it to an employee mistakenly entering a business registration number as the amount. It was later discovered that the registration number belonged to a media company, sparking online discussions about the incident. Despite the hefty price tag, the steakhouse has become a popular spot for Taiwan's wealthy clientele, with one person typically spending around 5,000 New Taiwan dollars per meal.
