On June 25, 2024, at 7:59 AM, police quickly arrived at the scene and a commotion ensued outside a building in Cambodia where a Taiwanese woman, believed to be 32-year-old Qian, fell to her death. The woman's partner mentioned that there were several Taiwanese residents in the building, possibly involved in illegitimate activities according to Global Anti-Scam Organization, Gaso. Despite Gaso's involvement, the motive behind the incident remains unclear. Additionally, recent arrests of Taiwanese individuals in Cambodia for drug-related crimes have raised concerns. The Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with Cambodian authorities, while investigations continue.
