A 27-year-old woman named Liao from Taichung was fatally run over by a tour bus at a city intersection after a collision while changing lanes on her motorcycle. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was unable to be saved. The incident is still under investigation by the police to determine the exact cause. The woman suffered severe injuries causing distortion in her limbs and succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. No other injuries were reported among the bus and car drivers involved in the accident.
