In the past two months, a townhouse in Dongxing Market, Taichung, has caught fire twice, with a female tenant narrowly escaping both times. The recent fire was suspected to have started from an air conditioning unit on the fourth floor, but the tenant, Ms. Zhang, only suffered minor injuries. This incident follows a previous fire in the same building at the end of last month, where Ms. Zhang and her boyfriend were also injured. Authorities are investigating the causes of the fires, leaving nearby residents anxious about their safety.
