On June 3, Tang Chiping's 73-year-old mother passed away by suicide at their residence in Tamsui. Tang Chiping, a 45-year-old actor, refused to claim the body twice, stating that it was not his mother. His ex-girlfriend Ding Ning expressed deep concerns, emphasizing that 'he loves his mom the most.' She worries that Tang Chiping might harm himself due to the shock, pain, and pressure he is facing. Tang's manager mentioned that they are currently unable to help with the funeral arrangements due to the lack of a blood relationship with Tang's mother. Tang has temporarily halted work, with his fees for two cameo appearances already paid by the company. Ding Ning, who had a past relationship with Tang, believes that the public pressure and scrutiny are causing him immense mental strain and urges everyone to give Tang space and time to recover.
