On June 17, 2024, at 7:19 AM, entertainer Tang Chiping's mother was found deceased in their residential building. Although the police identified the deceased as Tang's mother, Tang insisted otherwise, delaying the funeral arrangements. The entertainment industry veteran Baiyun has offered assistance, and the Entertainment Union's director Cao Yuting also pledged support, recognizing Tang's emotional struggle. Cao Yuting mentioned that despite Tang not being a union member, helping in such matters is a moral obligation within the industry. Efforts are being made to assist Tang in handling his mother's funeral.
