Taoyuan City Government is actively promoting the construction of sewerage infrastructure to transform Taoyuan into an internationally modern city. Through the renovation process of sewer projects, including the removal and refurbishment of alley ground, and engaging residents in discussions to beautify the area, a documentary called 'The Formula of Light' was produced. This documentary won the Gold Award at the 57th Houston International Film Festival, showcasing Taoyuan's uniqueness and beauty to the world. Sewerage Director Liu Zhenyu emphasized the importance of sewerage systems in modern cities for collecting and purifying wastewater before discharge, preventing water pollution. Taoyuan has completed planning for 12 sewerage systems, aiming for a 3% annual growth in public sewerage coverage. The documentary received various awards, bringing international attention to Taoyuan's efforts in sewerage construction and environmental preservation.
