Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Substation has been utilizing the 'Post-Epidemic Improvement of Labor Shortages and Expansion of Employment Program' to help many women re-entering the workforce and middle-aged job seekers to join the hospitality industry. The program, initiated by the Ministry of Labor, aims to address labor shortages, providing job incentives and encouraging job seekers to enter relevant industries. In the past year, the substation has assisted in filling vacancies in the hospitality, food and beverage, and aviation industries, offering monthly incentives ranging from NT$6,000 to NT$13,000 for employed job seekers. Over 6,650 job seekers have participated in the program, with a job placement rate of over 60%, successfully matching individuals with employment opportunities. The program is set to continue until the end of the year, focusing on ensuring job conditions and facilitating effective job placements for industries facing labor shortages and unemployed individuals.
