A Korean BBQ restaurant in Taoyuan was discovered with cockroaches crawling on the plates by a diner, prompting the Taoyuan City Health Bureau to conduct an inspection. The diner, who found the cockroaches while dining, later checked Google reviews and realized that many customers had been affected before. Various comments revealed instances of cockroaches found in dishes, urging others to be cautious before dining. The Health Bureau stated that if hygiene issues were found, the restaurant would be ordered to make improvements within a specified period or face fines ranging from NT$60,000 to NT$200 million for violating food safety and sanitation laws.
