The 2024 'Pan-Pacific Cup' Sports Dance National Championship organized by the Taoyuan Dance Industry Professional Union recently took place at the Taoyuan Agriculture and Industry Senior High School affiliated with the National Taipei University of Science and Technology, with over 800 participants from around the country competing for national team qualifications. In addition to the fierce competition, the event also featured live streaming for those unable to attend. Notably, the Taoyuan police utilized the event to reinforce awareness of common fraud techniques such as AI fraud, advising the public on precautions to avoid falling victim to scams like 'AI changing faces and voices to impersonate relatives or friends.' Through dance achievements, participants can even apply to outstanding academic institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education.
