In a bizarre incident, a taxi driver named Chen abandoned a passenger named Lin in New Taipei City's Xizhi when Lin, who was heavily intoxicated, couldn't provide the correct address and was deemed by the driver to be behaving maliciously under the influence of alcohol. Chen stopped the car, physically removed Lin from the vehicle, and left him lying on a one-way three-lane road. The case came to light when passersby alerted the authorities.
