With the increasing number of technology enforcement sites, insufficient signage has led to public discontent in Taiwan. Tainan currently has 38 such sites and plans to increase them to 63, while Kaohsiung has 56 and will add 26 more this year. Officials emphasize the need for clearer warning signs and LED lights at these sites to alert road users. The effective enforcement has reduced accidents by about 20%, with a total of 9,7375 violations and fines amounting to approximately 116.85 million NT dollars in Tainan last year. Measures are being taken to address the visibility of these enforcement areas, aiming to enhance road safety and reduce violations.
