In Kaohsiung, a teenager spent $200,000 on modifying his electric bike, which inexplicably caught fire when he and a friend were out riding. Two days later, while riding to report a case, the same bike ignited again outside a police station. Despite attempts to extinguish the fire, they had to seek help from firefighters. The teenager expressed frustration as the cause of the fires remains unclear, with authorities reminding against unauthorized modifications and emphasizing safety inspections on such vehicles.
