A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old got into an argument, leading to a fight on the streets in Sanxia District, New Taipei City. The 16-year-old pretended to reconcile but prepared pepper spray and a bat, while the 17-year-old brought 7 friends for backup. The confrontation turned violent quickly, resembling a street brawl, but ended shortly due to the strong smell of the pepper spray. Police apprehended the two groups within 5 hours and charged them with disrupting public order and causing harm. The incident stemmed from an online dispute, leaving authorities surprised at the extreme lengths taken.
