Tennis Player Chan Yung-jan Announces Retirement After Tokyo Olympics

Taiwanese women's doubles tennis player Chan Yung-jan, currently ranked 28th in the world, revealed that the upcoming Tokyo Olympics will be her final appearance in the Games and wearing the national team uniform. After successful treatment and training following injuries, her sister and doubles partner Chan Hao-ching aims to secure a spot through combined rankings. The Chan sisters, who won the Asian Games women's doubles gold, are set to compete in their third Olympics together in Paris. Although looking forward to a fourth Olympics, Chan Yung-jan expressed gratitude to her sister for choosing her as a partner and will cherish this last opportunity to compete at the national level.
