Teng, known as the eternal sweetheart of the military, often participated in military labor activities despite being invited to perform in China multiple times during her peak. In 2013, the Teresa Teng Foundation even launched a 'missing person notice' to find the lucky lieutenant who received her kiss, leading to the discovery of Xue Jinyou, who was then working as an associate manager at a company under the Chinatrust Group.
