TVBS News website reported on July 4, 2024, at 8:19 AM that the situation on Taiwan's railway remains unstable. A massive rock fell near the Taitung Line tracks, causing disruptions, and at the nearby Hualien Station, a large boulder got wedged on a slope, dangerously close to the station, creating a scary situation. Additionally, a train passing between Yuli and Dongli was found to be shaking significantly, with the railway tracks visibly deformed.
