In 2024, Tesla's sales in China surged by 8.8% to a record 657,000 vehicles, even as global deliveries fell by 1.1%. December alone saw an increase of 12.8%, with 83,000 units sold, constituting 36.7% of Tesla's total global deliveries. Despite facing stiff competition from BYD and a decrease in European subsidies, Tesla remains a significant player in China's electric vehicle market, where aggressive pricing strategies are in effect.
