Tesla has introduced more affordable versions of its Model Y SUV and Model 3 sedan with starting prices of $39,990 and $36,990, respectively. However, these prices are still seen as high, especially after the expiration of a $7,500 U.S. tax credit. While the new models aim to attract a wider customer base, analysts express concern that they may not significantly boost demand and could disrupt existing sales. With growing competition and shrinking market share, Tesla is under pressure to reverse its declining sales trend.
