Tesla's customer loyalty has significantly declined since CEO Elon Musk endorsed Donald Trump, according to exclusive data. The brand's loyalty rate peaked in June 2024 at 73% but dropped to 49.9% by March 2025, aligning closely with Musk's political involvement and an increase in competition from traditional automakers. Although loyalty has slightly recovered to 57.4% as of May 2025, this marks a drastic fall from the brand's previous dominance in customer retention. Analysts suggest that Musk's political stance may have alienated some of Tesla's environmentally conscious customer base.
