In January, Tesla's sales of electric vehicles produced in China dropped by 11.5% year-on-year, totaling 63,238 units, as reported by the China Passenger Car Association. The deliveries of the Model 3 and Model Y saw a significant decrease of 32.6% compared to December. In contrast, Chinese competitor BYD sold 296,446 passenger vehicles in January, marking a 47.5% year-on-year increase, despite a decline of 41.8% from the previous month.
