Thailand May Reduce Tariffs on U.S. Imports Amid Trade Concerns

Reported about 9 hours ago

Thailand is exploring the possibility of implementing zero tariffs on more imports from the U.S., according to Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira. The government is also planning to provide 200 billion baht (approximately $6.1 billion) in soft loans to mitigate the effects of existing tariffs, as a 36% tariff from Washington looms if a trade agreement isn't reached by August 1.
