The 15th Cross-Strait Film Exhibition held its opening ceremony at the Shin Kong Cinemas in Qingpu, Taoyuan, with mainland Film Emperor Zhang Yi, Wei Chen, Wang Dalu, and the lead actor of the hit comedy film 'The Annual Meeting Can't Stop!' Da Peng in attendance. Various film industry personalities, including director Liu Yulin and writer Liu Zhenyun, also graced the event. The exchange between film talents from both sides has been positively received by audiences in Taiwan and the mainland, making it a great film exchange event as stated by Zhu Yanping, the director of the Cross-Strait Film Exchange Committee.
