On June 20, 2024, at 8:35 pm, the Chief Prosecutor of Taipei District Prosecutors' Office will be succeeded by former Director of the Investigation Bureau, Wang Chun-li. Following the promotion of former Chief Prosecutor Cheng Ming-chien to Minister of Justice, the position had been filled by Acting Chief Prosecutor Tsai Wei-yi. Today, the Ministry of Justice announced the appointment as predicted by the public that Wang Chun-li will take over as the Chief Prosecutor of Taipei District Prosecutors' Office. Additionally, Huang Yu-yuan, the Director-General of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, will become the Chief Prosecutor of Tainan High Prosecutors' Office. Due to the end of her term, Kaohsiung High Prosecutors' Office Chief Fei Ling-ling will move on to become the Prosecutor-General, leaving the vacancy to be filled by current Chief Prosecutor of Tainan High Prosecutors' Office, Chu Chia-chi, while the latter position will be taken by the current Director-General of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, Huang Yu-yuan. Wang Chun-li, a military officer by background, held various prosecutorial positions before this appointment.
