Russian and North Korean official media reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit North Korea on June 18 and 19, marking his first visit to Pyongyang in 24 years. Speculations arose that Putin and Kim Jong-un might sign the 'Pyongyang Declaration,' indicating a potential for Russian military involvement in case of conflict in North Korea. After his visit to North Korea, Putin is scheduled to visit Vietnam on June 20 and 21, meeting with the new Vietnamese President To Lam and other leaders. The visits have sparked anticipation and preparations in Hanoi as well.
