In Taipei, a thief successfully stole around $10,000 from a claw machine shop by damaging the coin exchange machine. The police identified a man in his 70s as the suspect, who first attempted to use a drill but failed, and then returned with a crowbar to break open the machine and steal the cash and game tokens. The man was apprehended and will face charges for aggravated theft. Authorities advise businesses to enhance security measures, especially during unmanned hours, to prevent similar incidents.
