In a bizarre theft case in Wuying Road, Penghu County, a 56-year-old man named Ye broke into a local food stall on July 2nd and used a screwdriver to unlock the cash box, stealing $13,000 in cash. Ye, who had previous theft records and was wanted by the Tainan District Prosecutor's Office, was caught on surveillance cameras during the act. Despite quickly spending most of the stolen money, Ye was arrested later that day, and the police expressed frustration at his continued criminal behavior. Ye was charged with theft and the case was referred to the Tainan District Prosecutor's Office.
