On June 15, 2024, at 3:45 a.m., in the Ankang Ping House in Wenshan District, Taipei City, over twenty residents found themselves without water on a scorching day. Climbing to the rooftop for an inspection, they discovered that all the water meters had been removed! The police caught two men who were stealing the meters while residents were asleep. The residents have now locked everything up to prevent further thefts.
