Due to strengthened Pacific high pressure today, most areas will be partly cloudy to clear, with eastern regions reaching around 32-34 degrees Celsius, and western regions around 36 degrees, possibly reaching 37 degrees in some areas like near mountainous regions or river valleys. Certain counties and cities issued high temperature alerts, with Pingtung on red alert for chances of consecutive 38-degree heat, while Kaohsiung on orange alert. Beware of sudden thunderstorms and strong winds.
