On June 22, a unique full moon will be visible, being the lowest out of 12 full moons this year according to calculations by the Taipei Astronomical Museum. Reaching a height of only 36 degrees, it will be easily visible to the naked eye without the need to tilt your head up. This special low angle of the moon is due to its orbit nearing the southernmost point, making it appear farther south in the sky. The next full moon with the highest angle will be on December 15, significantly higher than this weekend's event.
