Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm, is exploring the sale of Trader, a Canadian automotive marketplace and software provider for around C$4 billion. The firm acquired Trader in 2016 for about C$1.6 billion and is now looking for potential buyers. Thoma Bravo is also considering selling J.D. Power, a consumer intelligence provider, for around $8 billion, but has not found a buyer at that price yet.
