Threatening to Poison, 'Taiwan University Female Elite' Extorts 300,000 from Fast Food Restaurant

Reported about 1 year ago

A Taiwan University graduate in New Taipei City expressed dissatisfaction with McDonald's for making a wrong delivery in the past. She then left a threatening message on the company's official website customer service system, demanding a transfer of NT$300,000, or else she would 'randomly poison a store.' Concerned about potential harm to innocent people, the restaurant reported the incident promptly, leading to the swift arrest of the suspect by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. It was discovered that within five days, the suspect had sent six threatening letters.
