FTNN News reported on June 11, 2024, that three bodies, one male and two female, were found in a hotel in Kaohsiung's Yancheng District. The guests had exceeded their checkout time and were unresponsive to calls, prompting hotel staff to call the police. Upon investigation, no signs of a struggle were found at the scene, but two pieces of paper resembling suicide notes were discovered. The deceased, believed to be acquaintances who recently met online, were in their 30s and 40s, with one of the men being a somewhat famous online chef. Further details on the incident and cause of death are pending investigation.
