Three young boys in North Dakota discovered the remains of a juvenile T. rex while hiking in July 2022. The boys, along with a paleontologist, excavated the fossil in the summer of 2023, determining it belonged to a teenage T. rex weighing 3,500 pounds and measuring 10 feet tall and 25 feet long at the time of its death. This rare find allows researchers to study the growth and development of the T. rex species during a crucial phase of its life. A documentary titled 'T.REX' will premiere at the museum, showcasing the excavation process and insights into the T. rex world.
