Three Major Industries Suffer This Year! Electrical Cable Industry's Annual Revenue Decline Nearly 10 Billion

According to the latest statistics from the Taiwan Stock Exchange, as of May this year, the operating income of listed companies in Taiwan has grown by 10.11% compared to the same period in the previous year. However, the electrical cable, sports and leisure, and oil, electricity, and gas industries have seen declines in operating income by 7.21%, 1.39%, and 1.12% respectively, with the electrical cable industry experiencing the most significant drop of nearly 9 billion. The stock exchange reported that the total revenue of all listed companies in May amounted to 3.3797 trillion, showing a 15.83% growth compared to the same period last year.
