On June 29th, in the evening, at Zhuwei Fishing Port in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, three individuals playing in the water were swept out to sea by ocean currents and unable to swim back to shore. The Taoyuan City Fire Department promptly dispatched a rescue team, successfully bringing the three individuals to safety onshore after search and rescue efforts. The rescued individuals, a 66-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a 7-year-old boy, were evaluated by medical personnel and found to be unharmed but declined further medical treatment. With the increasing heat, the Fire Department urges the public to choose swimming locations carefully and prioritize safety to prevent accidents.
