In March, Taoyuan City government announced the cancellation of three Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) plants setting up in the Taoyuan Technology Industrial Park, which led to appeals by the operators. The Ministry of Economic Affairs revoked the city government's decision on June 6. Minister Guo Zhihui mentioned that two out of the three SRF plants have already been completed and have attracted significant investments from international companies, drawing attention from friendly nations. Exploring the refining process of SRF, allowing for further discussions on regulations and agreements between the city government and businesses, Minister Guo emphasized the importance of international investments while ensuring adherence to regulations.
