The Kuomintang is pushing for amendments to raise the recall threshold, with a legislative review slated for 7/4. However, some party members feel it's a sensitive time politically and should be postponed, while the People First Party chairman Ko Wen-je disagrees with increasing the threshold but suggests revising the petition method. KMT Chairman Eric Chu admits some members also don't advocate for raising the threshold but aim for one additional recall vote than votes obtained.
