TNT Sports has secured the rights from ESPN to broadcast early-round College Football Playoff games starting in 2024. The five-year agreement includes sublicensing ESPN's rights for two first-round playoff games each season until 2026, after which TNT will broadcast two quarterfinal games annually. This comes ahead of the 12-team CFP format launch post the 2024 regular season, where ESPN remains the exclusive rights holder through 2031, sharing with TNT for select games. This move occurs as TNT's NBA rights are under threat, potentially altering its content lineup.
