According to SET News on June 20, 2024, tomorrow more than 10 counties and cities in Taiwan will experience temperatures soaring above 36 degrees. While today has been rainy with flood warnings for 15 counties and cities, tomorrow is expected to bring high heat. The Central Weather Bureau issues an orange alert for Changhua County, Yunlin County, Tainan City, and Pingtung County due to the probability of three consecutive days with temperatures over 36 degrees, urging people to take precautions. Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Nantou County, Kaohsiung City, and Hualien County are under a yellow alert. The public is advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, stay hydrated, use sunscreen, and be cautious of heat injuries.
