In an effort to crack down on corruption in the green energy sector, the Supreme Prosecutors Office, in collaboration with the Investigation Bureau and the Agency Against Corruption, launched the 'Jingping Project.' The project targets unscrupulous public officials who accept bribes from green energy companies and manipulate budget freezes for personal gain. Among the 3 suspects, former township mayors are accused of extortion and intimidation, while a legislative chief of staff is being investigated for bribery and pressuring government agencies. The operation included raids on multiple locations and is part of ongoing efforts to eradicate corruption in the industry.
