A karaoke club in Pingtung County recently organized a 2-day-1-night trip to Guoxing Township in Nantou County, where the village head accused the tour bus driver of leaving them stranded at the Moon World in Kaohsiung, with 40 members waiting for 50 minutes before another bus arrived for pickup. However, the travel agency stated that the driver acted in accordance with the situation, as he had to address his child's sudden injury, leading to a temporary replacement bus being sent. Despite the uproar, both sides clarified that the driver did not abandon the group, attributing the incident to miscommunication. Additionally, allegations of overcharging were made, and authorities advised that members can refuse to pay extra fees if not originally stated.
