Toyota is recalling approximately 100,000 Tundra pickups and 3,500 Lexus LX 600 luxury SUVs to address an issue that could cause engine power loss while driving. The recall affects 2022 and 2023 model year Tundras and LX 600s with gasoline engines, not hybrids, due to debris left in the engine during manufacturing. Toyota is yet to determine a fix and affected owners will receive notification letters soon, with repairs to be conducted free of charge at Toyota dealerships.
