On June 17th, a traffic accident occurred on Yimin Road in Hsinchu, Taiwan, involving a motorcyclist and a passenger who were on the way to a driving practice session. The passenger, later identified as internet celebrity Wu Mengting, sustained a serious head injury in a double collision, first with another motorcycle and then with an SUV. Wu's father expressed heartache on social media, revealing that she is currently fighting for her life and may have to be removed from life support on the 29th. The family had purchased a motorcycle for Wu, but the accident has disrupted their plans, leaving the father unable to bear watching the surveillance footage of the incident.
