A house fire occurred in Tainan City, resulting in one fatality, Chen Binyin, founder of Feity, a brand well-known for its handcrafted leather goods including grid bags. Chen, a skilled artisan with 30 years of experience, previously faced challenges including divorce and cancer before her children helped transform their family business into the successful brand Feity. The incident caused great sorrow as Chen tragically lost her life in the fire, having designed a bag that attracted attention after being carried by TWICE member Chou Tzu-yu, leading to the brand's popularity. Feity has announced plans for a reconstruction of their factory and full refunds for customers, conveying the irreplaceable loss of Chen Binyin.
