In Taoyuan City, a 48-year-old man surnamed Guo was driving a car that illegally made a U-turn on Zhongzheng East Road in Dayuan District, colliding with a 23-year-old motorcyclist named Zhang who was traveling in the same direction. The motorcycle burst into flames, but nearby convenience store employees quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher to prevent the fire from spreading. Unfortunately, Zhang sustained severe injuries, lost vital signs on the spot, and was pronounced dead after emergency medical treatment. Both parties tested negative for drunk driving, and further investigation by the police is needed to determine the exact cause of the accident.
