In a heartbreaking incident, a New Taipei City police officer surnamed Wang accidentally fell to his death near the Changyuan Pumping Station. It is suspected that Wang mistakenly walked in the wrong direction, leading him to the embankment where he tragically fell. Upon receiving the news, Wang's father rushed from Yunlin to identify his son's body and lamented the loss of his only son. Wang, a dedicated officer, had recently prevented a fraud case. His father mourned, 'Our family has lost its descendants.'
