A horse-transporting truck operated by a outsourced team from the New Taipei City Police was involved in an incident at a railroad crossing in Yingge District, where it got stuck due to the barrier coming down and managed to break free just before a train arrived, causing damage to the barrier. After the incident, the Taiwan Railways Administration repaired the barrier, reported the incident to the police for fines and license suspension, and will seek compensation. Video footage captured the truck carrying two horses, with reactions online expressing concerns about penalties and damages.
