During a rowing training session, a dragon boat team in Chongqing, China capsized unexpectedly, resulting in the drowning of three individuals. It was reported that some team members were not wearing life jackets during the accident. Following the incident, the race has been temporarily suspended as authorities investigate the cause and enhance safety measures to prevent such tragedies from reoccurring.
