The redevelopment plan of the sea-sand houses in the Jiang Cui section of Banqiao, New Taipei City, was approved on June 13th. The sea-sand houses will be transformed into a 24-story high-rise building with 145 units, including residential and commercial spaces. The current civic center on the 1st and 2nd floors will remain, with an increased area of nearly 70 pings, aiming to provide a new accessible and comfortable activity space for the local residents in the Jiang Cui area through urban renewal efforts.
